Partridgeberry pickers on Ferryland hill...or are they actually Lingonberrys? The syrup I brought back from Nfld states "this tiny red berry is found on a low mat forming shrub, on rocky tundra and barrens. Ripening in the fall, this tart berry becomes much sweeter and tastier after exposure to frost"
