It was the night before Christmas...and our small tree was lit up from behind...cuz our outside spot light...illuminated the front of the house....BRIGHTLY! Sarah stayed home all day and night, which was lovely...and we all settled in to eat our veggie tray...and finish the "socks"...up.
The anticipation is still a part of this time of year.. I missed not having Jannah home...this year...we will talk on the phone during the Christmas package opening...we love this part.. it's almost like she's here...
The cats loved their gifts..and are looking very groomed!
The fake tree was a first for us...and I eventually came to appreciate the simpleness of it. ...without killing another tree...etc..
It's really about family and friends...and how much they are part of us... always...
