Bruce got the baby chainsaw checked over and renovated so he's done a wee bit of removal as the snow permitted. This is by far the worst winter for downing trees. Harrison park was very hard hit and many large trees were destroyed.

Lots of work awaits us...
I might check out our local fire regulations and get an outdoor fireplace to help burn up some of this supplied wood..
This

Now that the back neighbours large crab apple is toppled....I do like privacy...you know..

If Jane decides to chop down all this greenery you see in this photo(and I believe that is her plan)... our side deck will be in full view...of her back deck... and we'll be really exposed..
I need idea's for filling in this space...???
If this was Mexico...they'd built a concrete/tile wall...for privacy...with friendly broken glass topper!!
This blue spruce had been hit by lightening just before we moved into the house...20 years ago..and it broke off it's top.. As the tree repaired itself it grew... 3 lead spires.... Then this winter happened...and one of the spires collapsed ...(hanging down) we can't park in front of the garage.. as it might go through one of the vehicles! the other 2 spires are also cracked and it won't be long until they fall.
