A sunday drive in April, to TO and back....

Well, on Sunday, Bruce and I headed down to Willowdale in the early afternoon. It was Leslie C's parents 60th wedding anniversary dinner. All the various parts of the Jackson/Campbell clan's were present. Some people I didn't remember and some were new faces although some were new "old" faces.

It was interesting to see June and George's network of friends. They are folks who have reached the age of 80 and have a strong network of friends... to share meals with, joys with...saddness with.. celebrations with. Leslie pointed out to me that we've known each other since we were 10 yrs of age, her mother also has a friend who she has known since she was 8-10 yrs of age and Mike, Leslie's bro, also has a friend he's known since he was 10 yrs of age... that's a long...long.. friendship..which has endured much along the way.......yet flourishes.

Unfortunately, Bruce had an attack of "heart irregularity" and we ended up overnight in Orangeville hospital... as we headed home.
This did not please Bruce in the least. Although the event lasted 5 1/2 hours it did stop on it's own....after Bruce passed out. Today is a better day.
