3rd day evening: Denman Island then Hornby Island

We miscalculated ...the two islands of Denman and Hornby... both have ferries..and you must travel across Denman to another ferry to Hornby... We were not aware that the last ferry to Hornby was ... 6pm... the last ferry to Denman was 830...pm.. hmmm..

We needed to take the Denman ferry...drive to the other side of the island...park the car overnight... take a water taxi.. $60.. to Hornby..then the same guy drove us to the B&B which was also across the island... $20 more.. and then we stayed overnight here.

this was a great place to stay longer at...maybe next time.

complete cabin.. with a loft... water restrictions very much enforced, and rainwater is used to flush toilet...etc. Hey it's a hippy studio that is built in the round. Since the temperature doesn't plumet like OS...it's built very much in the alternative style... quite fun. The folks running the B&B bought the studio...then built a home to "match" the studio and although they love it...it cost $$$$$ to do a roundish structure...roof...etc.. as compared to the conventional square building.

It was a beautiful house in the forest.
Very mossy... lots of deer around...nibble nibble...
