Sanding, priming and voila..first coat of paint

Ok the transformation begins.... James has spent the whole day scraping, sanding and priming our half of the building... He was disturbed with the "slate grey" but went with it... This am...I took the first photo...

Now, the primer is on..and the first coat of grey touches the post... different lighting...as it's now evening... yet I can tell I already like the opening up feeling of the change... more to do tomorrow!!
