Fall in Grey Bruce

As part of our Saturday exploring...we drove to Walter's Falls... originally home to an old lumber and wool mill that functioned until the early 1980's.

This is the dam that's precedes the falls. It's a lovely spot...
The water caused the turbines to rotate and power to be generated.

Close up view of the dam with it's stone wall
covered in moss.

A view of the Falls from the deck of the
restaurant
.

This is "The Falls Inn", it has a terrific restaurant with yummy meal choices.. a lunch, and dinner menu. Reservations are required for dinner...
we just "dropped" in for lunch at 4pm (which was our dinner) and sat on the deck overlooking the falls.

I had a delicious vegie crepe with tomato/mozzarella cover (generous portion!) ..caesar side salad and marguetta ...B had a crab and mushroom melt , side salad and beer...we both ate dessert (cheese cake/carrot cake) and tea/coffee..and the bill was $48
