This passion flower bloomed Jan 5/07 in our back room...it was -9C outside, yet this plant budded, and bloomed 6 blooms over 2 weeks. I was greeted each day with another bloom...and I felt hopeful...that the winter wasn't going to happen this year!! So much for that...

Each September L and I ,take a 4-5 day retreat to TO international filmfest.. I'm putting this photo in again...to remind me of lighter clothing days...and to gaze upon my daughter.. S and best friend L... remember the warmth? and now Sassafraz has disappeared.... "I smell burnt toast.."

I think you really are a fir tree my friend. That flower is amazing...so beautiful..I bet you can stare at it forever. Jannah certainly does fit in doesn't she? This year will be our "5th Annual Toronto International Film Festival"...glad we ate at Sassafraz last year! This year we will look different...you wait and see. Mrs. Brown you have two lovely daughters. Hahahahha but true.
