To London and back again: 4 day trip!!

I've said this before.. I dislike WINTER in general , (yes, we live in the snowbelt!) and I hate driving outside our region in the WINTER specifically. I usually wait until Spring to do any trips. On Wednesday I needed to drive Bruce to London for his Pulmonary Vein Ablation... (Heart procedure) This is take "2" for this procedure. (very invasive to the heart.. last done in Nov 05, partially successful)

Long story short: Bruce did very well throughout and post procedure...and it is hoped that the Atrial Fib will now be gone...time will tell.

The weather didn't behave and caused much grief to moi both leaving OS on Wed and returning today (Sat) ... yet I stuck it out and did it!! I do believe in stretching outside ones comfort zone occasionally.. ... to push yourself to try something not totally comfortable.... This was not comfortable for me.. (Whiteouts, drifts, icy roads, and diminished visibility and at one point I even had white knuckles!! for a few moments) My Matrix behaved beautifully and I took my time, based on the weather, while not sucumbing to the pressures of those trying to creep up over my vehicle!!

Gwynda did a fabulous job of keeping the cats happy and the laneway plowed out!! Thanks for being there for us...G..!

We came back today to this:

It's lovely ..really...if you do not need to travel...
That's it for now... it's nap time... zzzzzzzzzz

Thanks for the update. What a drive you had. The snow pictures really are pretty but enough already. enough. Bruce looks like he fell down the rabbit hole hehehehehe. Glad news is good.
