This is a favourite photo of a Corkscrew Hazel...(clarification: this is a photo from England not on my property!) and my friend L has one in her yard that is well on it's way to being a tree...G has one out in front of our place that is slowly morphing into a tree as well... I have a sad one in my backyard from last year's garden centre cast off...that needs more sunlight exposure..
I do like them as a tree...not a bush. Very " Hanzel and Gretal-ish" or Big Fish-ish.
