My spirit rose with the warm weather treat of last week......and fell with the rude high winds.... and icy storms.. we've just endured.. Highways were closed people stranded... The cats don't want to venture outside.. More trees came crashing down and little birds that were twitterpating in the cedars...panicked and left.
My news for the week is....I'm heading out West for a visit with my daughter. 15 days in June to unwind...tour.. visit... learn.. and generally RELAX... I booked my flight today and got my flight totally paid via AirMiles...yippee... I've never experienced a "free" ride...so to speak... This has given me something to look forward to. I'll be staying with J so that will help to have more $$ for the fun stuff. Car rental is a must and maybe a wee boat cruise up the sunshine coast is in order... Now I get to surf and plan.. Would like to hook up with my cousin again..if she's not off traveling somewhere..
Bruce is a wee bit jealous that I'm going to visit...but, hey...he went out there for his vacation last year, in August!! while I worked back here.... I say it's my turn. :)

Good for you...going out west. 15 days! Wonderful. That gives you enough time to "forget" back home while you are away. No nasty storms here...just the high winds but today (17th) is sunny and milder and quiet.
